Lightweights Challenge U. Penn and Navy on the Schuylkill

This weekend, the lightweights traveled to Philadelphia to race on the historic Schuylkill River racecourse.  The Blue Hens took on University of Pennsylvania and Navy in a series of three races including the freshman, 3rd Varsity, 2nd Varsity, and 1st Varsity eights. The Varsity Heavyweights and Freshmen/Novice crews traveled to Oak Ridge, Tennessee to compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) Regatta. Two weeks into the season, UDMC Heavyweights traveled to Camden, New Jersey for the Murphy Cup Regatta. Delaware Men’s Crew Lightweights traveled to Boston, MA this past weekend to duel Harvard and MIT on the Charles.
