Later in the day, the Frosh/Novice 8+ asserted their dominance, winning their final by 15 seconds over Lehigh, Virginia, Michigan, UNC, and New York Maritime.  The JV8+ raced aggressively in a very competitive final and placed 4th behind Michigan, Temple, Virginia, and ahead of UNC and Michigan B.  The Varsity 8+ was the last race of the day. The crew attacked the final in a fierce headwind and finished an exceptionally competitive race in 3rd place behind Michigan and Temple and ahead of Virginia, UNC, and Lehigh, proving to be a serious contender at the Dad Vail regatta.

The Heavyweights will be traveling to New Brunswick, New Jersey to race Rutgers this weekend. UDMC would like to thank all of the friends parents and alumni who came out to support the Heavyweights!
