Favorite Memory at UD: Racing the 4+ at head of the Charles. We were a wildcard boat thrown together and it was a cool experience, having a good race, and beating the teams we wanted to.
Bio: I started rowing for Saugatuck Rowing Club back in 8th grade. I was on the Varsity team and accomplished 9th in the Varsity 8+ at HOCR 2018 and won the C final in the lightweight 8+ that same year. At first I decided to go to Penn State and tried rowing there. Things didn’t work out with the timing of practice combined with my workload as a Materials Science Engineer. I took a 3 year hiatus from crew then decided to transfer here to UD in 2021 because I missed it so much. My first year back I got elected Vice President, went to the HOCR in the 4+, and beat my high school 6k PR. I look forward to keep improving the team as a rower and officer.
