Following the freshmen, Delaware’s lightweight 1v lined up to duel Georgetown’s Lightweight 1v. The Fightin’ 150’s wasted no time off the start and quickly pulled¬†away from Georgetown through the length of the course, crossing the finish line approximately 10 seconds ahead of Georgetown, completing the lightweight sweep.¬†This weekend allowed the Lightweights to open their spring season with a positive and competitive spirit, and to get a good indication of their speed and capabilities.

We would also like to thank all of the parents, friends and alumni of UDMC for supporting our rowers at Georgetown and invite you Boston this upcoming weekend where the lightweights will take on Harvard and MIT.
