Fundraising
A large portion of Delaware Crew’s funding comes from generous donations. Yearly events like the Alumni and Parents Day and the Erg-A-Thon, as well as contributions made by the coaching staff, make it possible for the team to afford oars, racing shells, ergs, cox boxes, racing fees, transportation fees, and more. Our operating costs are influenced greatly by the number of members we have. The 2008 team has over 90 rowers and coxswains – the largest our team has ever been! If you are interested, there are two ways of making a donation to Delaware Crew.
Donate Online:
In order for the team to receive your donation, you must specify “Men’s Crew” as the purpose of the donation. Fill out the form below or go to the UD donation page.
Be sure to specify Men’s Crew in the Purpose field.
Donate By Check:
Alternatively, you can send a check which is also processed by the University. Make the check payable to The University of Delaware with Men’s Crew Club in the memo line. If the check is not filled out correctly, the money will not be donated to the team!
