Coach Chuck Crawford Named USRowing’s Collegiate Coach of the Year

Delaware Men’s Crew Head Coach Chuck Crawford was nominated for the “Collegiate Coach of the Year” title in the 2015 USRowing Fan’s Choice awards. Crawford was one of five nominees. Cornell’s Chris Kerber, Virginia Commonwealth University’s Yuriy Levitskiy, Bates College’s Peter Steenstra, and Ohio State University’s Andy Teitelbaum were among the other nominees.
Crawford finished first in the final polls and was honored at the 2015 Golden Oars dinner at the New York Athletic Club on November 19.
USRowing sat down with Coach Chuck to discuss the award, his goals, and rowing philosophy.
