In the last race of the evening the Delaware Rutgers 1Vs took to the Raritan River. In this race Rutgers took the lead from the start but Delaware narrowed the lead to half a length and was pushing back into the race. However, the Delaware boat struck a buoy and lost all momentum. After this, Rutgers was once again able to push away from Delaware and came across the line in a time of 6.14.2 with Delaware 8.0s behind.
