Delaware Rowers Advance to Pan American Games

Congratulations to Will Purman ’13, Cooper Hurley ’18 and Jimmy McCullough ’19 for their performance down in Rio last week at the Pan American Qualifier Regatta. Will, representing Puerto Rico, finished 6th in the A Final for the Mens Single Sculls. Cooper and Jimmy, representing USA, finished 3rd in the B Final for the Mens Lightweight Double Sculls and 6th in the A Final for the Mens Quadruple Sculls. All three rowers will be competing at the Pan American Games, held July 26 – August 11, 2019 in Lima, Peru. We are proud and honored to have such continued success at the national and world stage with our alumni and current rowers and will be hosting a send-off fundraising event for these three rowers as the games approach.
