Hens Take on 4th and 5th Ranked Crews On The Charles

The Fightin’ 150s hit the road and traveled up to boston this past weekend to race both Navy and Harvard on the Charles, sending five Varsity 8s to compete. Racing commenced early, with the Fifth Varsity 8+ falling short against both Navy and Harvard. The Fourth Varsity 8+ also fell short, with the Naval Academy taking first. In the Third Varsity 8+ race, the Naval Academy once again proved their prowess in the lower boats, besting both UD and Harvard. In the Second Varsity 8+, Harvard showed some speed and finished before both Navy and UD. The First Varsity 8+ race had some fireworks at the end, with the UD 150s sprinting hard, but ultimately running out of room and losing by half a deck to Navy for third place, with Harvard victorious. The Hens look forward to racing MIT and Temple this coming Saturday, with a Frosh 8+ racing Sunday against Rutgers.
