On Saturday, the Delaware Lightweights took on the Engineers of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for some competitive racing on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Delaware’s Freshman Lightweight 8 won their race, besting the Delaware 3rd Varsity 8 by 2.7 seconds and MIT 3rd Varsity 8 by 5.6 seconds. Heavyweights Advance 1st and 2nd Varsity Eights to the Grand Final at SIRAS

This past weekend, the Heavyweights competed at the SIRAs (Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association) Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Freshman Lightweights raced in the Freshman Novice 8 category and placed 2nd in their Heat in a competitive race falling just short of Trinity.
